I received a message from my friend, Jessica, yesterday. It was an invitation to her 'birthday party' -just watching a movie, hopefully Clash of the Titans, and having dinner together later- 2 weeks later. She had invited all our Primary 6 classmates! Just the thought of meeting them again makes me want to jump up and scream out loud!
I missed the moments I have spent with them, from lame things like doing homework together to snatching our favourite books in the school library. One of the moments I enjoyed/hated most was, of course, during the PSLE exams.
Whenever we lined up outside the examination hall each morning, it was the most exciting, or most frightening experience in our lives. What we could then do was to crack jokes amongst ourselves. which infinitely irritated the teacher supervising us, so she told us to 'maintain silence'. When we finally stepped into the exam hall after each long wait, it was almost incapacitating, as the atmosphere was very tense, very different from our usual assembly hall.
I remembered each time I stepped out of the exam hall, I would first find the 'genius'-she got into NJC- in my class to check answers. However, I decided to stop doing that anymore after the first two days as I realised that my answers were always different from hers! She is a very good friend of mine and we are still in contact, hope to see her again the following week!
